The R Markdown file below contains three code chunks. I have an rMarkdown file with anycodings_caching a mixture of code, tables, and plain text anycodings_caching (in RStudio). By default, all cached R objects are loaded into the global environment globalenv(). It can be given an argumen envir to store R objects inside a specific environment. Knitr chunk and package options describes how caching works and the Cache examples provide. I am able to do this, anycodings_caching but only if I've deleted the cache folder. What is cache in R Markdown For a cached code chunk, its output and objects will be automatically loaded from the previous run, as if the chunk were executed again. anycodings_caching If the cache has been created, I get the anycodings_caching following error when trying to do subsequent anycodings_caching knits: ! LaTeX Error: Illegal character in array arg. Caching is often helpful when loading results is much faster than computing the results. This is especially confusing as it always anycodings_caching works the first time, and the PDF output anycodings_caching looks exactly as I want it to. My code anycodings_caching components are set to "cache=TRUE", because anycodings_caching it's a big file and I want to cut down on anycodings_caching loading time. I can't directly share my data, but the anycodings_caching setup for one of my tables looks like this: exp2_age_gender_table %>% Geometry: left=35mm, right=20mm, top=30mm, bottom=30mm I've looked up what that error anycodings_caching means, but I can't find anything on how it anycodings_caching relates to the cache.
